Magda Melon, Building Regulations Principal Designer BSc, MSc ARB

Magda Melon is PTE’s Building Regulations Principal Designer leading cladding remediation projects and fulfilling the BRPD role within PTE’s Knowledge Hub across multiple UK schemes. She oversees design coordination, technical compliance and the Gateway process submissions, drawing on her experience across all RIBA work stages.

Magda brings strong technical capability in remediation projects, complex detailing, historic buildings refurbishments and new‑build design from her previous role as a Senior Project Architect. She is proficient in Revit and other widely used industry tools, and has delivered feasibility, planning, tender, and construction packages requiring rigorous design analysis, coordination with multiple disciplines and creative problem‑solving.

She has led project teams as a studio lead and design manager, managing assistants and technicians to deliver high‑quality documentation while coordinating with contractors, consultants and clients on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.

With 20 years’ experience gained across the UK, Poland, the Netherlands and Denmark, Magdalena has contributed to residential, commercial, aviation, education and workplace projects, working effectively within diverse and international design teams.
